Véronique Sabbah has over 20 years of experience in Investment Solutions and Derivatives in Europe. She is currently Head of Equity Derivatives Sales for EMEA at HSBC, having joined the bank in September 2024. Since then, HSBC has significantly expanded its Equity Derivatives franchise across EMEA and has been shortlisted for the “Rising Issuer” Award by SP Intelligence Europe in 2026.
Before joining HSBC, Véronique spent 18 years at Société Générale, where she held various management roles across Europe on both the Sales and Structuring sides.
Over more than two decades, she has been a key player in the development of the derivatives markets across
EMEA, in Benelux, the UK, and France.
Véronique began her career in 2002 at Crédit Lyonnais in Paris and later moved to New York to join the Structuring team at Calyon.

Yann Garnier is the current Global Head of Sales & Research, Global Markets, at Société Générale. Yann has over 20 years of experience in Investment Solutions & Derivatives in Europe & Asia. Prior to his current role Yann was Head of Global Markets Asia-Pacific for Société Générale from 2016 to 2018. During his career Yann held several management positions in the Structured Products and Equity Derivatives fields, notably as Head of CEEMEA Sales in 2006, Head of Sales for Cross Asset Solutions for Asia Pacific from 2009 to 2015 and Head of Global Markets sales Asia Pacific in 2015. Yann graduated from EDHEC Business School, and holds a master’s degree in business law from Paris X University.

Julien Lascar is the Global Head of EQD Institutional and Distribution Sales at BNP Paribas.
Julien has over 20 years of experience in the financial markets and derivatives products. He joined BNP Paribas in December 2022 as Global Head for EQD Institutional and Distribution Sales. Prior to that, Julien spent 19 years at Société Générale where he held several management positions across the Americas, Asia, and EMEA, notably as Head of Global Markets Sales for Europe excluding France from 2018 to 2020 and Global Head of Equities and Equity Derivatives Sales from 2020 to 2022.
Julien holds a French law degree and a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from HEC and ESCP-EAP Business School.

Brandon leads the Structured Investments (“SIDM”) business for the Americas at J.P. Morgan. Housed within the Markets business of J.P. Morgan’s Commercial and Investment Bank (“C&IB”), the SIDM team delivers the Firm’s content (derivatives, investable indices) across wealth management client segments including Private Banks, Wirehouses, Broker-Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors, with the primary business being the issuance and sale of cross-asset structured notes and Certificates of Deposit, as well as OTC derivative solutions. The team also provides coverage and support to the Firm’s insurance carrier clients who offer J.P. Morgan investible indices via their various policies. In addition to his regional responsibilities, Brandon is a member of the Global Equity Derivatives and SIDM Management Team as well as the C&IB Global ESG Committee. Brandon joined the Firm in 2006 after graduating from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Economics.

Tom Layton is the Senior Vice President of Product Management within Raymond James Global Wealth Solutions. During his 21-year career at Raymond James, he has overseen product management for a variety of investment solutions. He is currently responsible for the firm’s structured investments (market-linked notes and market-linked CDs) platform as well as OTC hedging solutions. His team is responsible for advisor education, sales/consulting, product research/origination, and platform experience. Tom is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned a B.S./B.A. in finance with honors. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
Tom and his wife Lauren both grew up in Tampa, FL and currently live there with their two boys Dominic (12) and Julian(11).

Mark has been with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for 29 years, starting his career in 1994 in fixed-income servicing wealth management. Mark has been working with the Structured Investments team since 2006 serving several roles focused on both sales and product and platform initiatives. In his current role, his responsibilities include product origination for both domestic and offshore issuance as well as the evolution of the Structured Notes platform, addressing the changing needs of the business through product and platform enhancements. He is responsible for managing the relationships with external partners including the issuing banks.
Mark is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, Ohio where he received his B.A. in History. He proudly serves on the board of The Charlie Landers Foundation, which was created in honor of his son, with a mission to raise awareness, provide support to pediatric and young adult patients and fund research to find a lasting cure for Ewing’s Sarcoma.

Eric founded UBS Global Wealth Management (GWM) America’s Structured Solutions business in June 2006. He currently leads UBS GWM Americas and UBS Investment Bank (IB) Global Markets Americas’ cross-divisional collaboration teams responsible for the product development, origination, distribution, secondary trading, and OTC equity derivatives functions for GWM Americas and IB’s third-party distribution clients. Eric has also led UBS GWM America’s listed options, futures, exchange-traded products, closed-end funds, and unit investment trust businesses. In addition, Eric serves on several of the firm’s executive management, operational and product risk, distribution, and commitment committees. Eric also serves on the board of Luma Financial Technologies, LLC.
Prior to working at UBS, Eric held several positions of responsibility. He was the Managing Director, and Head of Product Development in the US Equity Derivatives group at Citigroup’s Corporate and Investment Banking Division; Managing Director, and Head of the Structured Products and the Over-the-Counter Derivatives groups at Wachovia Securities; Senior Vice President, and Head of Equity and Fund-linked Structured Products and the Single Stock Risk Management groups at Lehman Brothers; and he started his career in equity derivatives structuring and marketing at Merrill Lynch, where he was a Director in the Global Equity Linked Products Group.
Eric holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. He completed his Master’s thesis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, under the mentorship of his father. In the year, Rob Sowinski was elected by unanimous vote from the structured product industry, where colleagues, partners and competitors, decided to give Rob the distinction.
Robert (Rob) Sowinski had a long and distinguished career working in the structured product industry, holding various leadership positions in both distribution and trading. In 2015, he joined Advisors Asset Management, Inc. (AAM) as Managing Director of Structured Products, where he was responsible for origination, product development, issuer relationship management, infrastructure, and educational growth. Prior to joining AAM, Rob served as Managing Director at Jefferies LLC, where he headed third party structured products distribution in North America. Earlier in his career he served as a Director at Citigroup ICG, holding various structured products leadership positions within the Citi First Cross Asset and Fixed Income Structured Products groups.
Rob Sowinski received a BS in Finance from Baruch College, City University of New York.
Robert Sowinski had a passion for his family and the markets and is described as smart and witty, with a kind and genuine spirit. Born on April 28, 1972, Rob passed away on July 13, 2021 in Boca Raton, Florida at the age of 49. He is survived by his wife Monika and children Veronica and Filip.
Rob was a great friend, colleague, and mentor. His contribution and impact to the structured products industry is immense and his presence will be greatly missed.

Elliot Scherer is Managing Director & Global Head of CIBC Capital Markets’ Wealth Solutions Group.
His team is responsible for originating and distribution structured notes, market-linked GICs, CDRs, fixed income, foreign exchange, financing and hedging solutions to investment advisors, private bankers and their high-net-worth investors around the world.
Elliot holds over 20 years of experience with CIBC Capital Markets, is a board member for the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, and is on CIBC’s Children’s Foundation Donations Committee.
Elliot also recently won the 2025 Champion of Change Award from VersaFi in recognition of his efforts in promoting an inclusive workforce.

Jerome joined BMO Capital Markets in 2007 and has 21 years of experience. He is currently Co-Head of Global Distribution for the Cross Asset Solutions Group. Prior to this, Jerome was Canadian Head of Sales and equity structurer for the retail operations of the structured products group.
Jerome also sits on the board of directors at Bishops College School and has established and funded a scholarship fund for promising student athletes.

An-Lap Vo-Dignard and Ian Provost are the Founding Partners, Senior Vice President and Portfolio Managers of The Vo-Dignard Provost Group - National Bank Financial.
An-Lap has more than 20 years of experience in the wealth and portfolio management industry. He graduated from HEC Montreal (University of Montreal business school) in finance in 1996 and started his career at the Bank of Montreal. He then joined National Bank Financial in 1998 where he founded the VP Wealth Management Group, which now has in excess of $2 billion under management and is comprised of 15 finance professionals.
Ian started his career at National Bank in 1997 and joined National Bank Financial in 2001. His extensive expertise in portfolio management and risk management, combined with his knowledge of financial markets, permits him to excel at developing investment strategies tailored to the needs of a wide range of clients. In addition, he has an innate sense of determining the real risk tolerance of clients, which is an art. This allows him to determine an optimal tailor-made portfolio for his clients.
The VP Group won several awards over the years in the National Bank Financial recognition of excellence program, notably, the prestigious prize of Best team in Canada in 2012 and in 2020, and one that is especially dear to An-Lap and Ian, the Social Responsibility award. Incorporating ESG factors in their portfolio management is of utmost importance to the VP Group. All these efforts were recognized recently when the VP Group won the Wealth Professionals NEI Advisor of the Year Responsible Investments award in 2021.
The VP Group also likes to give back to the community by being actively involved with many charities in Montreal. Notably, there is the Montreal Heart Institute Foundation, Papillon Foundation, Bruny Surin Foundation, The Jasmin Roy Sophie Desmarais Foundation, HEC Foundation and The Orchestre Metropolitain in addition to contributing to several other charitable causes.

Deland’s career in the financial industry spans over three decades, having started at Nesbitt Thompson Lesley in 1990. He joined BMO Wealth Management in November 2021, where he leads as a dynamic senior leader. Before joining Wealth, Deland was Head of Global Markets within BMO Capital Markets, where he provided markets-based solutions to BMO’s corporate, institutional, and government clients. Deland’s passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) in the financial industry and the community is well-known.
In his words, Deland described BMO as having the best culture on the street, reflecting his belief in promoting an inclusive workplace. Deland’s commitment to DE&I started in his youth, and he is a champion of the cause in life and business. He believes that a more diverse organization with varied thought processes promotes faster growth and strengthens the business. Deland participates in several BMO employee groups and initiatives, including BMO Black Professionals Network Canada, which he founded as an executive sponsor. He received the 2021 Catalyst Champion Award for his trailblazing work on inclusivity in the workplace.
Deland is a member of several boards, including the SickKids Board of Trustees and SickKids Foundation in Toronto, where he elevates discussions on topics of health, inclusion, and equity. He serves on the board of Women in Capital Markets as Treasurer, the Jackie Robinson Foundation as Director, and Co-Chair for Bank of Montreal BMO’s Employee Giving Campaign.
Deland’s induction into the SP Intelligence Canada Hall of Fame is well-deserved, recognizing his contributions to the structured product industry in Canada and his commitment to promoting DE&I in the workplace and the community. His achievements are an inspiration to the next generation of professionals in the structured product industry.
